NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Housing Authority of the City of McDonough, GA
FY 2025 Five Year Agency Plan And Annual Update
FY 2025 – FY 2029

The Housing Authority of the City of McDonough, Georgia, is updating its Public Housing Agency Plan for FFY 2025 in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. The Housing Authority will conduct a Public Hearing at 4:00 PM EDT on September 10, 2024, in the Housing Authority Main Office located at 345 Simpson Street, McDonough, Georgia 30253.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to discuss the Agency Plan updates and to invite public comment regarding the FY 2025 Agency Plan and Annual Update for the FY 2025–FY 2029 Five-Year Action Plan. The proposed update for the 2025 Annual Plan and Five-Year Agency Action Plan update for FY 2025–FY 2029 is on file and available for review at the Housing Authority Office.

MASTER DEVELOPMENT PARTNER – REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (AD)

The McDonough Housing Authority is seeking qualified development partners to assist with the development of a vacant, 12-acre site adjacent to its
Central Office and Lewis Street public housing site.

The Authority is looking to hire one or more development partners to help it reach its goal of expanding low- and moderate-income rental opportunities to families and seniors in the City of McDonough, GA. We anticipate the use of traditional affordable housing tools that may include, but are not limited to the various forms of Equity, Hard & Soft Debt, Grants, and other subsidies.
